The Guangzhou Internet Court's ruling on the AI services infringing on the copyright of Ultraman has come into effect. The defendant infringed on the plaintiff's Ultraman work copyright during the provision of AI services. The court ordered the defendant to pay 10,000 yuan in economic damages. This is the world's first effective ruling on generative AI service infringement.
